Meet the Team

John Peters is President and majority shareholder of WCHMedia Group, encompassing Best Publishing Company and Wound Care Education Partners.

Jaclyn Mackey is Vice President of Best Publishing Company as well as Operations Director of Wound Care Education Partners. She came to us from Divers Alert Network (DAN), after having served as Executive Assistant to the CEO and COO, Coordinator of Nonprofit Services, and Events Marketing Specialist. Jaclyn started with us as the marketing director in 2013. Her background is in marketing and outreach, program development/program management, administration, and counseling.

Jaclyn handles marketing, communications, content creation, product development, shows/event management, administrative direction and oversight for the organization.

An avid diver, outdoor enthusiast, and student pilot, Jaclyn also enjoys spending time with family and her three dogs.

Eric vanBok has been in the IT industry for over 35 years and has worked for small companies, startups, and large corporations. He’s done government and military contract work, user interface development, worked in the speech recognition field, and has worked as a hands-on manager in the IT department for a large publishing company. Since 2005 he has focused on designing and building websites of all kinds. Some of those websites still receive millions of visits a year.

An avid musical enthusiast, Eric is also a percussionist, a teacher of West African music, and the drum set. In his spare time, he enjoys building and repairing drums, specializing in the West African djembe and dunun, as well as working on guitars.

Alyson supports Best Publishing through a combination of creative production and behind-the-scenes coordination. She captures and edits educational lectures for continuing education programs, helping ensure high-quality, accessible learning experiences for healthcare professionals. In addition to her video work, Alyson plays a key administrative role, assisting with course logistics and shipping customer orders.

Originally from South Jersey, Alyson is a lifelong Philadelphia sports fan. She now lives in Durham, North Carolina, with her husband, Nathan, and their growing household of "kiddos" which currently include dogs, rabbits and box turtles. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Alyson loves exploring national parks and spending time in nature. She became a certified scuba diver in 2009 after getting tired of being left on the boat during vacations—and possibly in hopes of getting a closer look at sea turtles. Alyson also works part time as a photographer and has had her work internationally published.

Elizabeth Peterson is bilingual (Spanish/English) educator with a degree in Business Communications, License in Teaching, and experience in international nonprofit work, publishing, and business development. Beginning her career in in Argentina, she built expertise in cross-cultural communication. Over the years she has merged into recruiting, corporate training, and entrepreneurship. Currently with WCH Media Group, she supports sales & marketing, events, new business development, and serves as project manager and lead editor.

Beth is an avid outdoor enthusiast and fitness trainer who enjoys running, swimming, teaching and spending time with her family.
